Larry Jemison, Jr. is a powerful author, consultant, and business entrepreneur who aims to assist all in becoming successful. He serves as Vice President of Business Development at HBCUConnect, LLC where the primary focus is to ensure HBCU and Latinx talent receive ample exposure and opportunity to embark on a bright career. At HBCUConnect Larry’s clients include AMEX, Johnson & Johnson, and Wells Fargo to name a few. Before HBCUConnect, he spent over 25 years in the corporate sector in the areas of Finance, Training, and Marketing and Sales, with companies such as Lucent Technologies and Novartis Pharmaceuticals.
The Georgia Secretary of State recognized Larry for his role in Prostate Cancer Awareness. He has been published in the Atlanta Business Journal (“Education Before Playstation”), on commercials for the Weather Channel, and his website featured in Black Enterprise Magazine. You may have seen Larry in your local bookstore, as the author of How to Make it in a World that Wasn’t Made for You, a true to life story of how to combine motivation, leadership and attitude to obtain your success. When not working on new HBCU projects, or spending time with his daughters (Madison & Jada) Larry enjoys playing golf and traveling.
