LUNCH & LEARN: Elevating HBCU Students and Alumni in a Challenging Job Market

This session will address the unique challenges faced by students and alumni of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in today's competitive job market. HBCU CONNECT's objective is to create a supportive ecosystem that empowers both employers and individuals to enrich the workforce with diverse talent across sectors.

Learning Objectives:

  • more effectively recruit HBCU talent (students and alumni) by utilizing one or more of the engagement touchpoints that we will share.
  • assess where they currently are as it relates to recruitment and devise a plan to refine their strategy based on the case studies and testimonials that we intend to present.
  • identify 1 or more opportunities to engage with HBCU talent in real-time after we share the benefits of meeting HBCU talent where they are (i.e. career fairs and conferences).
