The Humanities to Career Program at Bunker Hill Community College enhances career prospects for Humanities and Liberal Arts majors. Join program leaders to explore strategies that connect HLA education with workforce needs, focusing on an employer and faculty-driven microcredential initiative.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the importance of human skills cultivated in Humanities and Liberal Arts programs and how they are essential for the workforce preparation of future professionals in the age of AI.
  • Apply a campus-wide approach to embedding career-centered initiatives into Humanities and Liberal Arts programs, with a particular focus on supporting students of color and low-income students, at their own institutions.
  • Build a durable skills microcredential program through a process that prioritizes both internal (faculty/staff/student) and external (employer) voices.
