Justin Lorts

Justin Lorts is an educator, historian, and university administrator with over 20 years of experience in higher education. As Senior Director of Scholars & Fellows Programs, he helps lead efforts to support scholar development, expand high-impact practices, and connect students to post-graduate fellowship opportunities.Throughout his career, Justin’s administrative work has sat at the nexus of classroom learning, co-curricular engagement, and career and professional development, with a particular emphasis on supporting FLI students. He has held senior administrative positions at New York University, Princeton University, and Johns Hopkins University. Justin holds a BA in history from the University of California, Berkeley and a Ph.D. in U.S. history from Rutgers University, New Brunswick
