Anthony Arcieri is a seasoned career services professional and leader, with over 25 years of experience in the field at four different academic institutions. Anthony has led the undergraduate career advising and programming team at Harvard’s Mignone Center for Career Success for the last eleven years, overseeing a team of 8 staff delivering student career advising, a comprehensive curriculum of programs and workshops, and employer and alumni partnerships. He is part of the 3-person senior leadership team, providing strategic vision and oversight to the largest and most comprehensive career office at Harvard as part of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, serving all undergraduates, PhD students, and select Master’s candidates. Anthony served as Assistant Director for six years before this leadership role. Prior to arriving at Harvard, Anthony spent seven years with The George Washington University Career Center, as Assistant Director for Career Education and Employer Development and Employer Relations Coordinator. Anthony holds a graduate degree in College Counseling and Student Affairs in Higher Education from the University of Delaware, and an undergraduate degree in Political Science and Public Policy from The George Washington University. Anthony is co-author of the book "Majoring in Success: Building Your Career While Still in College," used by high schools and colleges nationwide. He is an experienced presenter, delivering presentations to professional audiences on diverse topics ranging from "Developing a Professional in Residence Program" (Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers annual conference), to "Creating a Career Development Curriculum Around Connections" (National Career Development Association annual conference) to "Career Readiness and Competencies" (Global Career Services annual conference), among others.
