Nikki A. Bethel is a dynamic, results-driven senior leader with over 20 years of experience in strategic planning, access and belonging, talent management, leadership development, and public speaking. As President and Chief Executive Officer of the Emma L. Bowen Foundation (EBF), Nikki is responsible for leading the development and implementation of EBF’s mission to prepare students for the workforce and increase and sustain belonging in the media industry. A primary spokesperson for EBF, Nikki works with staff, board and stakeholders to develop the foundation’s future strategic direction, including building bridges with corporate and industry partners while guiding financial sustainability, brand identity, and long-term success.
Prior to EBF, Nikki was Senior Vice President of Talent Management for Home Box Office (HBO), and responsible for talent acquisition and organizational effectiveness. Nikki is a member of The Links, Jack & Jill of America, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, and is an honorary member of the Women’s League of Science & Medicine. Nikki holds a BA in Government and Politics from the University of Maryland, an MA in Education from Harvard, and a Human Resources Management Certificate from the City University of New York (College of Technology). Nikki is happily married to the love of her life, Richard, and they live between Brooklyn and Sag Harbor with their daughter, Sydney.
