Bobbijean Carey

Assistant Director - Internship Programs

Bobbijean began her career with Northwestern Mutual as an associate financial representative to two Wealth Management Advisors in the Chicagoland area. She was invited to join the Hoopis Network Office recruiting team where she developed a passion for the internship program.

In 2016 she stepped away from her full-time role at NM to focus on raising her family, but as they say NM blood runs deep. A former colleague asked her to come onboard with her newly founded, boutique recruiting firm. She excelled working with top clients on sourcing strategies and recruiting workflows while helping to onboard a growing team. In 2021 Bobbijean relocated to the Milwaukee area and joined forces with the Home Office to provide field perspective to the Talent Acquisition and Growth internship team. She was recently promoted to Assistant Director of Internship Programs and is dedicated to bringing modern concepts and an elevated experience to the field internship program.

Outside of work, she resides with her family in Pewaukee, WI where her boys Declan (11), Duke (9), Boden (7), and Archie (5) keep her quite busy. When not on a sideline or in the stands you can find her fishing, skiing, and trying to find her green thumb in their family garden.
