Long Wu serves as the Director of Operations and Student Employment at the NYU Wasserman Center for Career Development and brings over 10 years of experience in higher education. In his current position, he leads and oversees NYU Wasserman's data and assessment initiatives, particularly the annual first destination survey, information systems and databases, and the university's student employment program. He earned his BA in Communications from Northeastern University and MS in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Colorado State University. Currently, Long is a PhD candidate at Rutgers University’s Higher Education program, where his research focuses on career choices of low-socioeconomic students. Long has served as a National Co-Chair for NASPA’s Asian Pacific Islander Knowledge Community from 2017-2019 and has presented at various regional and national conferences, including NASPA and the National Student Employment Association (NSEA). Recently, he was invited to speak at the 2023 Handshake Access Conference and the Career Leadership Collective's Summer 2023 Think Tank.
