Paulette Gonzalez-Sierchio joined New York University (NYU) in June 2024 as Executive Director of the Wasserman Center for Career Development where she spearheads strategic initiatives to foster student flourishing and alumni success, regionally and globally. Prior to joining NYU, Paulette was the Assistant Vice President of University Career Services at St. John’s University (NY) where she also served as member of the University’s Strategic Priorities Review Team, AI Task Force, MSCHE self-study team, Divisional Strategic Planning Committee, and inaugural Director of the Justice Initiative Program.
Prior to pursuing a career in higher education, Paulette was Senior Vice President at a national bank leading teams across the New York Metropolitan area. Her leadership approach is marked by fostering connections that impact communities and empower individuals, and a commitment to data-driven decision-making, inclusive program development, and developing a growth mindset.
Gonzalez-Sierchio has presented at NACE, NASPA, EACE, and Career Leadership Collective conferences. She holds an MPS in Homeland Security and Criminal Justice Leadership from St. John’s University, an MBA from Montclair State University, and a BS in Environmental and Business Economics from Rutgers University.
