Adam graduated from Carthage College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Upon graduating, he worked for three years as a group home counselor for a non-profit organization, mentoring male youths who previously resided in detention centers or residential facilities. He transitioned to DuPage County (outside of Chicago) as a Career Counselor, where his passion for assisting adults find stable employment began. In April 2014, he started his position as a Career Specialist for Purdue University Global (formerly Kaplan University). Over the past eleven-plus years, he has been a Career Specialist, Employer Partnership Team Lead, and Senior Team Lead of Employer Partnerships before taking on a leadership role in 2017 as the Director of the Center for Career Advancement for the Schools of Health Sciences. Additionally, Adam is a current co-chair of the Technology Task Force, has been a member of the NACE Recruiting Standards Task Force, NACE Membership of the Future Task Force, and NACE Honors and Awards Committee.
