Karen Acampado serves as a dedicated career coach and connector at Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, Career Design Lab. Her mission is to empower students to reach their career aspirations through personalized coaching and professional development initiatives.
With a genuine passion for connecting with students and faculty alike, Karen actively researches current industry trends and provides unwavering support to her students. Her extensive experience spans student engagement, fostering meaningful relationships with employers and managing information sessions and large-scale events.
Karen finds immense joy in assisting students with various aspects of their career journey, from refining interview techniques to navigating internship and job searches. She is particularly enthusiastic about guiding students in brand development and resume enhancement, firmly believing in the importance of equipping them with the tools for long-term career success.
In addition to her work at Columbia, Karen provides career coaching and guidance to members of The Lime Network, supporting their professional growth and success. In her role, she focuses on advancing participants in the Foundations Program and actively contributes to various organizational initiatives alongside the team.
