Amy Smith is the Director of the Center for Career Exploration at St. Francis College, working to connect students to opportunities that help them succeed in their future careers. In addition to her work in career services, Amy also serves St. Francis College as regional recruiter for Long Island and out-of-state undergraduate enrollment, and as an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Management.
Amy has led employer engagement and career strategy at multiple institutions and has given guest lectures and presentations on a variety of topics including personal branding, entrepreneurship, career management, workplace technology and strategic planning. She serves colleagues within her field as Presdient of the Eastern Association of Colleges and Employers (EACE), a non-profit professional organization with 2000+ members that fosters relationships empowering colleges and employers to develop the future workforce.
Amy earned an M.S.Ed in Higher Education Leadership and Policy Studies from Hofstra University, during which she completed a thesis studying the impacts of articicial intelligence on career development and the global workforce. She also holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.
