Desiree has served at the Florida Atlantic University Career Center since 2019, where she is the College of Business Liaison. In this role, she empowers students to prepare for their careers by providing one-on-one and group coaching, fostering professional development, and connecting students with business industry employers. Desiree works with a wide array of students, including those that desire to be entrepreneurs. Her responsibilities also include guiding student-athletes as they build career readiness skills. Desiree holds a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Florida State University and a Master’s in Higher Education and Student Personnel Services from the University of Central Florida.
Desiree is also an NCDA Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) and has presented at the 2023 Southern Association of Colleges and Employers (SoACE) and the 2019 NASPA Annual conferences. Her work focuses on building inclusive, career-ready environments that support all students, with a strong emphasis on fostering confidence and career readiness among students.
