Sara Seefried holds a Master’s of Education in Higher Education Leadership and has extensive experience in roles supporting student success and career readiness. Her career has spanned several diverse positions at Weber State University, including Coordinator of Tutoring, Student Employment Coordinator, and her current role as Coordinator of Internships and Career Development Programming.
A passionate advocate for student development, Sara’s work centers on helping students not only acquire the skills that employers seek but also communicate those skills effectively. She understands the importance of students standing out in competitive job markets, and this focus has driven her work in every role she’s held.
Sara co-created Weber State’s Career Development attribute, a designation that highlights courses and co-curricular experiences across campus that equip students with career competencies. This initiative bridges academics and career preparation, ensuring students have clear pathways to connect their learning with career readiness.
In her current position, Sara oversees the ePortfolio program at Weber State University, a critical tool for students to showcase their skills, learning, and experiences. She leads training for faculty, staff, and students, helping them leverage ePortfolios to enhance student engagement and success.
Sara’s extensive background and commitment to career readiness have allowed her to present on topics such as skill development, ePortfolios, and integrating NACE Career Competencies into higher education programs.
