Jeff has worked in career services for 20 years. While at Northwestern he has worked in various roles supporting students’ career development and employment outcomes. He is a former first generation, low-income student and has helped FGLI students meet their career goals. Jeff also works closely to support students with disabilities in their career success. He has developed several student learning programs to help students with disabilities identify their top competencies and learn when and how to disclose their disability to employers. Currently he is working with Accessible NU (Students with Disabilities services at Northwestern University) in the second year of a project to help students with disabilities learn when to disclose their disability in the employment process.

Jeff has presented at NACE (2024, 2012, 2010); MwACE (2018, 2012); NCDA (2014); Northwestern University, Student Affairs Annual Student Learning Conference (2024, 2019).
He has presented on topics such as: BIPOC/FGLI students and creating their professional narrative; Working with students with Disabilities in the job search process; Working with students with Disabilities best practices; Training the next generation of career counselors among other topics.
