Manager, Workforce Development Programs
HubSpot, United States
Cheyenne Boyce has over 10 years of experience managing and developing educational programming for youth both domestically and globally. She believes in the power of education to help create life-changing opportunities and currently serves as the Manager of Workforce Development Programs and the Education Partner Program (EPP) at HubSpot, a leading inbound marketing, sales, and customer service software platform.
Since joining HubSpot 4 years ago, Cheyenne has served in several roles primarily focused on connecting students to opportunities within HubSpot’s ecosystem and developing programs to support career readiness, particularly for students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds in tech. Cheyenne initially joined HubSpot as a Strategic Partnerships Manager focused on supporting educators at HBCUs, HSIs, community colleges, and other traditionally underrepresented institutions. In this role, she worked to strengthen industry partnerships across these campuses and collaborated with professors to design HubSpot-supported curricula that met the unique needs of their students.
In her current role, along with a small but mighty team, Cheyenne continues to support a global network of 2,600+ professors and 210,000+ students who are studying marketing, sales, entrepreneurship, and business development. HubSpot’s Education Partner Program provides professors with educational resources to ensure that students have the necessary tools and experience to succeed in today’s industry. Along with supporting professors, through the team’s Workforce Development Initiatives students are also able to apply what they are learning in the classroom and practice their skills through work opportunities in the HubSpot ecosystem.
Cheyenne believes that education and access to opportunity are key to unlocking one's full potential. She is passionate about bridging the gap between education and meaningful work opportunities and believes that everyone, regardless of their background, should have equal opportunities to succeed in the job market.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Cheyenne actively engages in various community outreach initiatives and social impact programs. She holds a Masters degree in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University and a Bachelors degree in International Studies from Spelman College. Prior to joining HubSpot, she developed educational and cultural exchange programs to foster mutual understanding between the US and China as the Director of Program Development for the Confucius Institute U.S. Center. Cheyenne was a Fulbright Fellow to Malaysia in 2015 and currently teaches a Cultural Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution course as an adjunct professor at George Washington University.
