Tori Summey is the Associate Director of Employer Engagement at the University of Kentucky Stuckert Career Center, where she leads a team dedicated to fostering relationships between employers and the university. Her efforts focus on creating career opportunities for students, including full-time, part-time, and internship positions. Before this role, she served as the Director of Alumni Engagement for the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, where she acted as the liaison between alumni and the college. Summey holds a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Oklahoma State University and an M.S. in Community and Leadership Development from the University of Kentucky. Before returning to UK, Summey’s career has involved serving as the Agricultural Education Manager for Arizona Farm Bureau, where she led the statewide Ag in the Classroom program, and working as the Event Coordinator for the City of Lexington’s Division of Environmental Services, where she organized community events such as Nature Hop, Lex Glow Ride, Water Week, Reforest the Bluegrass, and Bike Month. Her diverse experiences and leadership have shaped her work, connecting students with meaningful employment opportunities and fostering engagement between the university and external partners. In addition to her professional roles, Summey serves as Chair of the Conference Committee on the UK Women’s Forum and was a member of the 2023 Leadership Central KY class. She has presented at several conferences, including the National Land Grant Diversity Conference, American Association for Agricultural Education Conference, National Ag in the Classroom Conference, Rural Sociology Conference, and the UK Appalachian Research Symposium.
