Do open-ended text fields present a challenge for your reporting? At the JHU Carey Business School, we recently addressed these challenges by incorporating AI into employment data cleaning. During this session, we will provide an overview of the project, discuss lessons learned, and overview future projects.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify at least one area where implementing AI can help to alleviate resource demands.
  • Describe at least one best practice for writing an AI prompt.
  • Explain possible roadblocks, challenges, and/or pitfalls associated with incorporating AI into data collection/cleaning.
